TutoringLane tutoring has begun. Please click HERE for the schedule. 
8th Grade GraduationPer new CPS requirements, we must move the 8th grade graduation to Monday, June 17. Practice will be during the day and the ceremony will be at 5:00 in the auditorium. 
Calendar ChangesIn order to accommodate for calendar changes, Lane will not be counting days missed over the holiday break or spring break towards the 5 day attendance policy. If your child cannot be in school because of vacation plans already made, etc, they WILL be marked absent. But those absences are exempt from the attendance policy. The new CPS calendar can be found at http://www.cps.edu/calendar/Pages/Calendar.aspx. 
Sign up for Lane Tech daily Updates using the Lane Tech RSS feed and twitter account. In order to do this go to the Lane Tech website: www.lanetech.org. In the upper right hand corner there are 5 icons. Click on the second one (it has three curved lines). You will be taken to a page where it will ask you where you want the feeds to go. Choose to subscribe to the feed using "live bookmarks." This will put an icon on your toolbar that you can click and get the latest messages. (You can also choose to have your information given to you another way.) Another option is to view the Twitter account. Again if you go to the website, you can click on the fourth icon (the one that looks like a bird). This will take you to the twitter page that also has updates.Bell Schedule

Parent PortalYou can create your account at https://parent.cps.k12.il.us/. You will need your student's id# and PIN#. Your student can get both of these numbers from her/his division teacher.
