Dear Lane Tech staff, students, and families–

Per Chicago Public Schools leadership, due to falling temperatures, all after school activities, including sport competitions, are canceled today.  We will need all students out of the building no later than 3:15 p.m. today.

There is no school tomorrow.  CPS emailed communication to all families with information regarding warming centers for our CPS families.  Once we have heard about Thursday, we will let you know.  If on Thursday school is in session, our finals schedule planned for tomorrow will take place then (finals for periods 3, 4, 5, and 6).  CPS has added an instructional day at the end of the year (June 19) to replace tomorrow.  We recommend checking the CPS website for up-to-date information for the remainder of the week.

Please dress warmly and stay indoors tomorrow if at all possible.  We want all of our Lane Tech community to be safe during these dangerous weather conditions.
