- Thursday, June 6: English & World Studies (ALL MAKE UP WORK DUE JUNE 6)
- Friday, June 7: Math (ALL MAKE UP WORK DUE JUNE 7)
- Monday, June 10: Chemistry (ALL MAKE UP WORK DUE JUNE 10)
- 8th Grade Finals Schedule
- ALL make up work must be turned in on day of final exam–no exceptions. There is no wiggle room for late or make up work to be turned in AFTER the day of the final exam in any given class
- Wednesday June 12:
- Graduation practice 8-9:30AM
- Spirit of Chicago Boat Cruise 11AM-1PM
- Dress code: semi-formal attire that meets Lane Tech dress code
- Students will receive their cap and gown, and 9 graduation tickets when we return from the boat cruise
- Thursday June 13:
- No school for 8th graders
- Graduation Ceremony 5:00PM (doors open at 4:40pm)
- Students MUST arrive by 4:30PM and will be ready to walk by 4:45PM
- Night books
- 7th graders will begin reading Night by Ellie Wiesel soon.
- If you need to purchase a copy (meaning you did NOT pay the book fee at the beginning of the year) please do so by Monday, May 6.
- 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens Academy Lessons
- Students are teaching various chapters of the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens throughout the next few weeks

- Lunch in the Memorial Garden or front lawn sometime in June, weather permitting
- If your student does not participate or is continuously disruptive, they will not earn enough points for one or both of the incentives.
