MATH PLACEMENT EXAM DETAILS
— for incoming 7th graders for school year 19-20 only
When: Saturday, May 18
Where: Lane Tech cafeteria
Time: Doors Open at 8:30AM
*You will not be allowed in the building until 8:30AM
*You will enter through Door “M” off the parking lot
*You will be directed up to the cafeteria
*Parents, please stay in the parking lot when dropping off and picking up your student
Test Start: 9:00AM
Test Finish: 10:45-11:00AM
*Please wait for your student in the parking lot
Reminders:
* Bring only a pencil
* NO calculators
* NO cell phone or electronics
* Please bring a book if you would like something to do if you finish the exam early
If your student chooses not to take the math placement exam, your student will be programmed into Pre-Algebra. Please email Ms. Ulmer at CUlmer@cps.edu if you are choosing not to take the math placement exam.
