    • We are aware that there are more than a few issues with the buses. The teachers are aware as well. Students will NOT be penalized for being tardy because of a CPS bus.  The student will, however, still be marked tardy.

  3. Parent Volunteers and Chaperones
    • All parents who would like to chaperone a field trip at some point this school year must be a Level 2 volunteer
      • If you completed the process last year, you are still in the system
      • Please complete the process ASAP
    • All parents who would like to volunteer as coaches in the winter/spring seasons — you must be a Level 1 cleared volunteer
      • This process is LENGTHY and takes some time. Please begin it immediately so you are cleared by the time winter sports begin

      • Always meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm

  8. Meet the Teacher Night
    • October 10, 2019
    • 5pm-7pm
    • Follow your student’s schedule and attend all classes for 10 minutes! Don’t be late to class!

 

    1. LTAC Academy Teacher Assistants and LTAC Senior Leaders
      • LTAC Academy TA
        • Each Academy has a former LTAC student, current senior, who is the TA in their class
        • Their roles vary but they will be responsible for mentoring, tutoring, and facilitating a variety of lessons and activities throughout the year
      • LTAC Senior Leaders
        • Every LTAC Advisory has 2 former LTAC students, current seniors, who are the designated senior leaders for that advisory
        • The role of the senior leader is to help the teacher facilitate the themed lesson each week and provide insight and mentorship to the LTAC advisories
        • Senior leaders help plan the lessons
