Range Sign Up Details
During Range Instruction – qualified instructors teach basic handling skills and maneuvers that are essential to safe driving. After completing this component, students begin the 50 hours of supervised driving as required by the state.
To Sign up for Range:
During the School Year you must come in on any Saturday from 8am-10am to sign up for range.
In order for a student to sign up for range they have had to take and pass the classroom portion of Driver Education and be 15 years of age.
*Students must bring their blue or yellow card (this is their certificate of achievement) or a transcript from their home school.
*Parents must be here to sign the permit application
Money that is due when you sign up for Range:
- $50 to CPS via online CPS E-pay . Must bring in paper receipt.
- $20 money order or personal check payable to Illinois Secretarty of State
