“The Odessia is a modern retelling of The Odyssey. In THE ODESSIA, a chorus of ancient storytellers tell their favorite tale: the story of Odessa (Odysseus’ daughter) and her journey to find her father. Through her travels across an anachronistic American landscape, she makes a deal with the dead, plays cards with Polyphemus, falls in love with a goddess, and fights an Ocean God. At the end of the end of her journey, she is left with the choice to claim her myth, or be ruled by it.”
