Welcome Back!
For most of us, it’s been more than a year and a half since we’ve been in a physical classroom. However, over the course of remote learning, a committee was formed. The birth of the BIPOC Committee during the 2020-2021 school year was a committee focused on social justice and equity in our school community. This year, we’re back, in person, and have no intent of stopping the work we’re doing. This year, the BIPOC Committee will focus more on hands-on in-person events and activities. The first thing up this school year is Hispanic Heritage Month! Be on the lookout for various events around the school celebrating Hispanic culture. We are ecstatic to be in the building, and we look forward to an amazing school year!
Love,
the BIPOC Committee
